I can not justify the cost or need the range of these full up analyzers. These tools saved me alot of time and money. I have seen the Snap On Modis and other full blown analyzers used on my 96 Cougar in the past. I would like to troubleshoot my 2010 Challenger SE and 2008 Sebring in the future. I realize a configuration file (let's just call it that for now), must be reconfigured by somehow changing/adding sales codes. I was hoping to use the Scanstar tool as both a diagnostic tool and programmer. I would like to hear from fltinstructor as well.įrom what I can tell, the three of you have some very intimate knowledge of how the Chrysler CAN works.
